THE Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, won the election at his polling unit located at Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state.
Ajayi, who is the governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, scored 395 votes against Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress, who got 13 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Eyitayo Jegede garnered, clinched five votes.
