CANDIDATE of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Saturday Governorship Election in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede, has won his polling unit.
He polled 220 votes to defeat incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress, who got 60 votes.
The Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, of the Zenith Labour Party, polled seven votes.
The PDP candidate voted at his Unit 009, Ward 2, Akure Local Government Area.
He also clinched 158 votes in the second unit to defeat Akeredolu, who polled 43 votes.
Ajayi got four votes.
