By Progress Godfrey, Abuja

20 October 2021 (SUMMIT POST) – Dr Favour Ayodele has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), to further pursue his aspirations of becoming Nigeria’s next President come 2023.

Speaking at the public declaration of his membership at the party office in Abuja on Wednesday, the former 2019 Presidential Aspirant of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), said that it is time to ARISE, LIGHT NIGERIA.

Ayodele stated that under the ARISE, LIGHT NIGERIA agenda, Nigeria will be known for Agriculture, Resources, Investment, Security, Education and 24/7 Light (electricity), noting that with 24/7 electricity, Nigeria’s problems will reduce by 75%.

“Fellow Nigerians, we are better together. We are stronger together. Our diversity is our strength, not our weakness. What Nigeria needs right now is a Party with a political ideology that unites us, not divides us further: at home and in the diaspora. What Nigeria needs is a Party with a philosophy that empowers us, not degrade us or embarrass us.

“What Nigeria needs right now is a Party with an outlook that emboldens us to dream big as world class citizens, not one that makes us run for cover. What Nigeria needs is a Party with a platform that welcomes free expression of ideas as the way forward, not one that censors or threatens our lives for using our God-given voices or hopes to bribe us with “hush money”.

“Fellow Nigerians, I have found that Party to be ADC- the African Democratic Congress, under the able Chairmanship of the Honorable Chief Ralph Nwosu and the National and International Executives. After careful deliberation with my wonderful team, we have concluded that ADC aligns with our vision and ideology, with an expandable platform for the bold ideas that we bring to the table.

He decried the senseless killing of #ENDSARS Protesters of October 20 2020, and all those killed for speaking against the evil and injustice meted on Nigerians by politicians. He therefore observed a minute silence.

“For these #ENDSARS heroes and heroines, as well as the many hundreds of martyrs whose blood have been needlessly spilled upon the soils of this nation: our brave soldiers who have died fighting terrorism, clergy men and women who have been silenced for speaking out against evil, harmless women who have been raped and some killed, farmers who have been massacred and driven out of their lands, school children and every day Nigerians who have been terrorized by instances of kidnap, some never able to return back to their families… and the list goes on and on. I humbly request we observe a moment of silence…”

He therefore called on present and past political aspirants of all levels to join the ADC and join hands in salvaging the country
“I therefore encourage and invite you, my friends, my colleagues, past and present political aspirants of the Gubernatorial, Senatorial, Representatives, and Local Government offices. Let us salvage our country. If not us… who? If not now… when? Let us make the African Democratic Congress party the Alternative Political Force- “THE TRUE FORCE” Remember, we cannot be like them and we refuse to join them. Let us therefore present to Nigerians a credible alternative, free from corruption, free from money-bag politics, ‘godfatherism’, ineptitude, nepotism, tribalism, backward thinking and “rulership mentality”. It is time to think Out-of-the-Box and work as if There Is-No-Box,”

“… I believe there is light at the end of this tunnel, if we arise and act now. I call on all who love this country, male or female, far or near. National development is a collective effort. The day we decide to unite under one vision, that is the day our victory will begin. That vision is here. The platform for the vision is here. Join us, let us make our nation one we can all be happy for. Another term of office with the current set of people. God forbid!”

The National Party Chairman, Chief Ralph Nwosu, while welcoming Dr Ayodele to the ADC, noted that the party is about Volunteerism and a call to serve.

Nwosu decried the deplorable state of Nigeria, stating that the party in its trajectory of building a “Super-Power Economy”, will ensure an end to godfatherism, bad leadership among others with its vision-driven aspirants.

He stated that being the party endorsed by Nigerian Youths and having over 40% of the youths, ADC will produce Nigeria’s next President.

He further disclosed that in the coming months, the party will be welcoming more aspirants; with clean records.

Ayodele made this disclosure in a statement,he signed and made available to journalists in Abuja, yesterday

Nigerians in Diaspora will have equal rights in my administration. Nigerians in the world will be treated with equal rights irrespective of where they are.
Optimistically, I and my team have carefully prepared sophisticated working plans, and by 2022 January will be unveiling some of them to Nigerians. But before then, part of what’s intentionally prepared and we’ll do, is;
Offering an alternative government, led by accountable, credible, visionary and dynamic anchors with common sense leadership as against recycled selfish rulers. My Administration will give Nigerians a brand new constitution debated and supported by all.
We will create national bridge-building agencies to restore our battered image, rebuild trust and create a culture of value-driven innovation across the country and beyond. This, we will achieve through our Orientation Intelligence Agency – (OIA), a Campaign Based Organization.
We will explore revolutionary technology-driven interventions to revamp and close our national security gaps that have created disunity, distrust, factions and policy deployments that ridicule our collective intelligence.
“Four years of world-class intensive solutions. We will go beyond crude-oil dependence and begin to explore renewable green energy innovations, as well as work to provide affordable pay-per-use electricity distribution.
“My administration will create a socioeconomic global policy for transformational values.Creation of food security through agricultural world chess against Nigeria’s allegorical appellation “Capital Poverty of the World” to “Emerging Global Economy.” EGE as we propose a $5trillion economic paradigm shift which by the end of my administration Nigeria will be having formidable socioeconomics and human capital base.
“LIGHT NIGERIA MISSION is a revolutionary project against our country’s shameful state; with electricity in Nigeria, 75% of our problem will be solved. If we can not concentrate on ourselves, it will be difficult to achieve expected results. Right now, I am proud of a mechanism with efficient and sufficient distribution of energy for 190 million people across Nigeria; when elected. Working system with solution-driven institutions is what we need now, and my administration will ensure this will be pragmatically integrated without reservation.
“We’ll invest in our local produce, so also in education, primary healthcare, transportation, tourism, security, housing,he said

Politics Popular Presidential Aspirant Joins ADC (Details)

ADC

A former independent aspirant during the 2019 Presidential election, Dr. Favour Ayodele, has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to pursue his presidential ambition.

While speaking to journalists at the party secrtatriat in Abuja, Ayodele said he made his decision to present himself for the service of the country, by running for the office of President.

He added that his aspiration was not about personal ambition or for selfish purpose but for the 20 million out of school children and sbout 20 million people living with disabilities.

Ayodele cautioned those calling for peaceful break-up of the country, warning that no break-up is healthy, as division always lead to reduction of value.

After 60 years of living together, including inter-tribal marriages, business transactions and investments, he eondered how to ensure an equitable division or separation.

He said, “What Nigeria needs right now is a Party with a political ideology that unites us, not divides us further at home and in the diaspora. What Nigeria needs right now is a party with a philosophy that empowers us, not degrade us or embarrass us”.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Party, Mr. Ralph Nwosu, said for more than 20 years the country had been facing different challenges, ranging from banditry to kidnapping and general insecurity.

He said all these challenges were as a result of bad leadership and lack of political will to do the needful.

Nwosu added that, “ADC is about volunteering services, just like young men or women who put their lives on the line to join military service and that is how public service should be. But the reverse is the case with the kind of politicians we have today who see politics as money making venture”.

“We welcome you proudly because you are a distinguished Nigerian. We need servants and dedicated leaders like you to lead this country,’’ the ADC chairman said.

He added that the ADC had been working with other political parties and institutions to achieve its desire of “enthroning a better Nigeria”

2023 Presidential Race: Favour Ayodele Joins ADC, Calls For Peace and Unity Amongst Nigerians

….As Chief Nwosu Advocates For Electronic Transmission Of Results

Founder and Chairman, African Intellectual Resource Organization (AIRO), Mr. Favour Ayodele has joined African Democratic Congress (ADC) to run for 2023 Presidential Race.

Speaking during the ceremony at the ADC Headquarters Wednesday, in Abuja, Ayodele said what Nigeria needs now as a country is peace and unity and not violence nor division.

“For those who are proposing a peaceful break-up, let us be clear about one thing: NO BREAK-UP IS HEALTHY. Division always results in a reduction of value. After 60 years of co-mingling and cross-transactions,  including inter-tribe marriages, business transactions and investments, how do you ensure an equitable division or separation? Fellow Nigerians, we are better together. We are stronger together. Our diversity is our strength, not our weakness. What Nigeria needs right now is a party with a political ideology that unites us, not divide us further: at home and in diaspora”, He noted.

He said Nigeria needs a party that is with an outlook that emboldens her to dream big as world class citizens, not one that makes citizens run for cover.

When asked what would be the position of women and girl child if elected as the president of Nigeria, Ayodele explained that he will be a he for she, as a matter of fact, a woman will be his running mate, as his two children are all girls. He said women position in his cabinet will be 50/50.

According to him, he would make sure he addressed the issue of electricity up to at least 70%. For him Ayodele, when there is electricity in the country; it will keep all the youth and agitators busy with their businesses.

On his part, the National Chairman of the ADC, Chief Ralph Nwosu, while advocating for electronic transmission of results immediately after votes from the pooling units, he however called on President Buhari to sign in to law transmission of results electronically.

When asked his position on the Pandora Papers, Chief Nwosu said, “we will not speculate based on any paper publication but if NIA and DSS Office release  what they have, you will find out that 99% of politicians, former governors, legislators, Senate Presidents, they are all crooks. By the time ADC Government will form, all of those documents will be made public, over 2. Something trillion dollars will be recovered from what have been looted by the politicians”, He explained.

When asked to react on the proposed direct primary bill by the Senate, and Chief Nwosu has this to say; “Senate should not legislate all parties to become straight, there must be difference between APC, PDP, ADC and other parties. They don’t design party by all size”, He said.

2023: Ayodele joins ADC, declares interest in presidential race

Deregistration: INEC colluding with politicians to undermine court processes ― ADC

..Calls for true force leadership to dislodge PDP, APC

By Chris Ochayi

ABUJA:  A former presidential candidate under the platform of Young Progressives Party, YPP, Favour Ayodele, has decamped to African Democratic Congress, ADC, where he vowed to actualize his ambition during the 2023 general elections.

Ayodele, who formally decamped to ADC at a ceremony held at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, said he was in the race to dislodge the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, having failed woefully to provide good leadership 22 years of the nation’s democracy.

According to him, “The journey before us is a clear one. The decision that must be made is a straightforward one. Do we want to continue this gloomy path with APC? Or do we want to go backwards to the PDP era? The answer is a resounding NO!

“On the other hand, for those who are proposing a peaceful break-up, let us be clear about one thing: NO BREAK-UP IS HEALTHY. Division always results in a reduction of value.

“After 60 years of co-mingling and cross-transactions, including inter-tribal marriages, business transactions and investments, how do you ensure an equitable division or separation?

“I have found that Party to be A D C – the African Democratic Congress, under the able Chairmanship of the Honorable Chief Ralph Nwosu and the National and International Executives.

“After careful deliberation with my wonderful team, we have concluded that A D C aligns with our vision and ideology, with an expandable platform for the bold ideas that we bring to the table.

“To that end and purpose, I am pleased and honored to announce publicly my full membership with the A D C – African Democratic Congress. I look forward to the great things we can do together for our great country going forward.

“Having said that, let me state again, as I did on Sunday 26th of September my vision to serve our beloved nation in the capacity of President of Nigeria under the mission-phrase, ARISE, LIGHT Nigeria!

“To my colleagues of the Third Force Forum-3ff, I choose to believe you have not lost your passion and your burden for our beloved country. That burden that inspired you to offer yourself to serve this country. What we could not accomplish in P A C T can be accomplished on this new platform of ADC.

“I therefore encourage and invite you, my friends, my colleagues, past and present political aspirants of the Gubernatorial, Senatorial, Representatives, and Local Government offices. Let us salvage our country. If not us … who? If not now … when?

“War is not noble, I believe there is light at the end of this tunnel, if we arise and act now. I call on all who love this country, male or female, far or near. National development is a collective effort.

“The day we decide to unite under one vision, that is the day our victory will begin. That vision is here. The platform for the vision is here. Join us, let us make our nation one we can all be happy for. Another term of office with the current set of people … God forbid!”
