Frontline stockbroker, Albert Okumagba, dies at 56

ONE of Nigeria’s foremost financial players, Albert Okumagba, is dead.

Okumagba, an economist and stockbroker,
died at the age of 56.

He was said to have passed on in Abuja, after reportedly suffering a heart attack.

Okumagba was the Managing Director of BGL Securities Limited and BGL Private Equity Limited.

The deceased would be particularly remembered for his role in the takeover of UBA by Standard Trust Bank.

The family had yet to release a formal statement on his death as of the time of filing this report.
