CHANNELS TV has said the video depicting violence in Owo, Ondo State, is fake and does not represent what is currently happening in the state as the people turn out en masse to elect a governor.
The video, which went viral on Saturday, had indicated that the wife of the incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress had been injured during a fracas involving his boys and voters.
The caption was: “Akeredolu’s wife injured, three killed as governor’s details invade polling unit.”
