Today, Hon. Leke Abejide Member House of Representatives, Yagba Federal Constituency received the delegations of the African Democratic Congress party (ADC) in his office. The delegation includes National Representative of the Party Hon. Mrs Dola Abanida and the Kogi State Executives ably led by the Chairman of the Party Hon. Temitope Kingsley Oggah.
The aim of the visitation was to further strategize on improving the party and protecting the interest of the people across the board.
Hon. Temitope commended the moves of the Rep. Member Hon. Leke on how he has been able to redefine representation, while also articulating other issues that crave for urgent attention.
Hon. John Adaji the state organizing secretary also applauded the efforts of Hon. Leke especially in the aspect of moving the party forward.
The Zonal Chairman of ADC Kogi-East Alhaji Ibrahim Yusuf cheered the Rep. Member to do more because Kogi people believe so much in African Democratic Congress as a party.
Hon. Leke admired their moves and alliance during and after the election. While addressing the delegations, Hon. Leke said, "As you all know that I can't do everything alone, I need more of your support and co-operation most importantly your prayers".
"ADC is a party that brings light and shine through dark and thick places, we can simply shine and make the people know that our party is out to make an explicit difference. I'm very optimistic that things will get better and our people will have the best through the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Hon. Leke acknowledged their unwavering support for the party and promised to constantly promote the progress of the party. He further laid emphasis on discipline as the core value to growth and cohesion of any party, while encouraging the Executives to embark on an aggressive drive for the Party members, noting that ADC is a party with foresight.
He pledged to continue to give in his best in the Legislative assignment bestowed on him through the party with impressive results.
